PrimaCare Community Family Health Team has been approved by the Province of Ontario to host a 2 year Physician Assistant (PA) pilot program. The PA role is being introduced to Ontario's health care system through demonstration projects in various practice settings to improve access to health care. The physician assistant is a skilled individual who supports physicians in providing a range of medical care in a variety of health care settings. The physician assistant works under the supervision of a physician, thus ensuring quality of care.

A huge welcome goes out to Wei Li. Wei will work in both Ayr and Paris. Dr. Henry Vlaar will act as the Primary Supervising Physician for this pilot program.
